The Little Book of Origins is the fruition of an exploration into creative typography in the form of an independent study course at the University of Denver. This little site is a bit of documentation of the creation and evolution of the book, as would seem appropriate, especially considering that this course is part of the Digital Media Studies graduate program at DU.

In addition to this book, the independent study also involved creating an expanded version of the Icelandic saga Ragnars Saga Lodbrokar (translated by Chris VanDyke) which had been produced for a previous typography course and the creation of three hardbound versions of the saga. However, this site is not about that. The saga doesn't get its own website.
